On Monday we visited the Exxon Mobil PNG LNG site at Caution Bay. At this site they remove the impurities in the gas and cool it into a liquid form. It then moves into large storage tanks before being loaded onto LNG carriers such as the Spirit of Hela, which can carry 175,000cm in one shipment. We were invited and accompanied by Gulf Governor Chris Haiveta. Exxon have been so kind to donate the no longer required camps to the Gulf province. The units will be used as classrooms for schools and for extra accomodation at the hospital. Crocodile Containers are providing their camp expertise to ensure the relocation process runs in a smooth and cost effective manner.
